Stormy Reveals Her Toby Keith Side
It’s very early in the week, but already Stormy is yearning for the weekend. Stormy was fast at work, recapping yet another two very exciting weeks of events and activity when, yes, her laptop died a painful death. Don’t even get Stormy started about the garage door that she took off the hinges—another story for another day. Devastated by the fact that she couldn’t recover all that she had uncovered for today’s update, Stormy went all Toby Keith on the computer. Oh, yes, she did. She called it a few choice names and made some accusatory references. Yes, it made her feel better. Now, she will do her best to recount that which she lost.
William Huckleberry Paisley has a new little brother, Jasper Warren Paisley, thanks to parents Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley. Stormy would like to say, “Welcome, little guy,” but at 9 pounds, 10 ounces, that’s a bit of stretch. Stormy can’t wait for these two to have a little girl they can name!
Speaking of Toby Keith, yet another country star has announced he will not toss his hat into the political arena. You'll recall Tim McGraw was a rumored contender for the governor's mansion in Tennessee. Not yet. Now, at a recent visit to the National Press Club, Toby said that he is not running for governor of Oklahoma. Had he done this, Stormy thinks he has some great material for campaign songs. "Wish I Didn't Know Now" says it all, doesn't it?
And while we’re on the topic of Tim McGraw, he doesn’t have time for politics because he’s too busy starring in movies. Hot on the heels of Four Christmases, Tim will co-star with Miss Sandra Bullock in The Blind Side. Oh, the title alone is enough to make Stormy long for a jumbo popcorn and a triple guzzler soft drink at the local cinema. If Stormy heard correctly, Tim will portray patriarch Sean Touhy who is married to Sandy Bullock’s character. If you’ve read Michael Lewis’ novel The Blind Side: Evolution of the Game, you’re probably just as excited about this as Stormy is! And Stormy simply cannot wait!
Stormy has to run. She’s got to pack because she’s headed to the Big Apple. That’s right, New York City, where she’ll be attending the opening of 9 to 5: The Musical. All of the music and lyrics are written by the spectacular and wonderful Miss Dolly Parton, and Stormy’s sources tell her it’s some kind of wonderful!! Go pour yourself a cup of ambition, and Stormy is going to take in the big show on opening night, April 30. Check back in just two weeks to see what a bite Stormy takes out of the Big Apple!
